Approach

Nomos, an independent French law firm, was founded in 1998 by partners from major Parisian business firms.

By focusing on long-term development, Nomos has become the recognised legal partner of a French and international client base made up of both large groups and mid-cap companies, and SMEs and dynamic start-ups.

Our fundamentals :

  • We choose to focus on providing high-quality services by concentrating our expertise on 5 major areas of law;
  • Our added value: good knowledge of our clients’ industries combined with our legal expertise;
  • Our structure by specialised teams ensures availability, responsiveness and efficiency;
  • We know how to work in a globalised and international environment;
  • We control our costs to ensure predictable and transparent fees.

Practices

Since its creation in 1998, Nomos partners have chosen to concentrate the firm’s expertise on five major business law practices complementary to one another: corporate law and mergers/acquisitions, tax law, employment law, antitrust and marketing law (competition, distribution, consumer law and advertising law), intellectual property – media and technology law.

Our mastery of these subjects combined with our experience allows us to assist and advise clients on a very wide variety of projects, including the most complex. We are thus able to set up efficient multidisciplinary teams  to address the different legal aspects of a project.

Our lawyers  are both advisors and litigators in their respective areas.

Industries

Nomos has always combined legal expertise and knowledge of its clients’ business sectors. In this way, we ensure that, in addition to their expertise in their legal speciality, the firm’s lawyers constantly increase and maintain their knowledge of the clients’ industries.

The understanding of our clients’ business practices, their constraints, and their developments allows us to propose specific and tailored solutions, thus generating added value for the company.

Teams

Quality and availability can only come from a combination of expertise. Nomos is organised into specialised teams in which partners and associates work together and constantly communicate.

Our requirements for the highest quality are also reflected in Nomos’ continuing investment in the recruitment and training of highly skilled and specialised lawyers, highly committed to deliver premium work for our clients.
