Sylvain is admitted to the Paris and California Bars. He has developed advanced expertise in Data Protection and Cybersecurity, both in advisory and litigation matters. He advises French and international clients on the design and implementation of data protection and cybersecurity governance and compliance frameworks, and represents them in investigations and enforcement proceedings before the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL).
His practice also includes strategic advisory services for organizations on legal issues related to Artificial Intelligence and technology regulation, particularly in light of evolving European legislation (AI Act, Data Act, Data Governance Act).
Sylvain Naillat’s expertise is especially sought after in cutting-edge sectors such as AdTech (online advertising), MarTech (marketing technologies), and the Internet of Things (IoT). He also assists with the deployment of e-commerce platforms and digital services, handling cross-cutting issues in technology law and intellectual property.
He has also developed significant experience in intellectual property law, particularly in the audiovisual and music industries.
He holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in Literary, Artistic and Industrial Property Law from Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, as well as an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Chicago-Kent College of Law
