Formerly a legal adviser in corporate law and an avocat since 1992, Katia Mardesic joined Nomos in 2001 as Counsel.

She practises in the Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions department, mainly in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, both specific operations (acquisition and sale of securities, mergers, universal transfer of assets, partial contribution of assets, sales of ongoing businesses, successor agreements, capital transactions, bond issues, stripping of shares, etc.) and legal action and advice in support of subsidiaries of groups in the private or public sector, independent companies and family businesses.

She also actively contributes to the firm’s multi-disciplinary expertise, in close collaboration with the tax law and employment law teams, particularly with regard to the transfer of companies, the status of directors, tax litigation and tax issues related to corporate law, as well as in the area of voluntary organisations.
