Julie Evangelisti practice focuses on public and private M&A and financial and corporate matters. With extensive experience gained in leading international firms, Julie assists her clients in the development of their strategy in France and abroad.

She mainly advises French and foreign clients on their acquisitions, divestments, investments, creation of joint ventures and restructuring transactions, in France and abroad, on either public or private companies. In particular, she has been involved in numerous complex multi-jurisdictional transactions including some public takeover bids.

Julie is also recognised for her expertise in financial law and regulatory matters, regularly advising public companies and their management on questions related to market abuses, management packages, reporting obligations and governance.

Prior to joining Nomos, She worked in the Paris offices of Dentons and Linklaters.

Julie, like the other members of the M&A team and other members of the firm, is doing pro bono work for Time2Start, which is an association which provides training to working-class project leaders to enable them to incorporate their own startup company.

Nomos M&A team was awarded “2020 Rising M&A Team” by Leaders League in January 2020.

Julie is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), the Association of Stock Exchange Lawyers (ADB) and the Professional Women’s Network (PWN).

  • Advising a French group on various divestments (Asset & Share Deals)
  • Advising Mary Njoku on the acquisition of IROKO TV to Canal+
  • Advising the French Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations on its co-investment in Arte Education together with the Daniel et Nina Carasso Fundation
  • Advising Italian Pharmathek Srl on its combination with the French Pharmagest Interactive
  • Advising 3D printing leader on its purchase of a majority stake in a French company operating a related business
  • Advising the founders of the French M&A boutique on their sale of shares
  • Advising PSA Group on its investment in the Canadian car sharing-group Communauto INC.
  • Advising US group You & Mr. Jones in its acquisition of a majority stake in the capital of the French data marketing agency Fifty-Five
  • Advising Fondations Capital regarding its exit from Talentia Software
  • Advising a leading European firm in its investment in several wind-powered projects
  • Advising the sellers in the sale of Axiome / Squadra insurance brokerage group for the benefit of Axelliance
  • Advising a leading US group in its purchase of the shares of the holding company of a French group specialised in professional hygiene, cosmetics and disinfectants products
  • Advising the purchaser in its acquisition of a majority stake in a company specialised in adhesive
  • Advising CM-CIC Investissements and other sellers and managers in respect of the sale of 100% of the shares of BB Participations (holding company of the Renaulac group) to JWO, a German group
  • Representing several major US investors in a US Private Placement of secured bonds issued by a French holding company
  • Advising Moroccan group Intelcia in its public takeover bid followed by a squeeze-out on The Marketingroup
  • Advising the sellers in the sale of 100% of the shares of Badtech to Maximiles
